We are proud to announce that Crowley Nursery is now a Botanical Garden!

Crowley Nursery is the inspiration and creation of it's owner,
Kathy Crowley, who says, "I invite everyone to come and visit my Heaven on Earth."

The Dream

I dreamt of being in the nursery business all my life.  My parents and grandparents were in the business in New Jersey.  From when I can barely remember, I would help weed and water the plants, and do whatever was asked of me.  I loved working with the plants, making them beautiful.

The Vision

We have 20 acres at the end of a dirt road.  I had a vision of beautiful gardens.  Even though we were far away from the city and experiencing the ups and downs of life, the vision of a nursery became reality.  I drove an hour from our home every day to my dream, getting home again in the dark.  We finally sold our home, and moved to the property.

A Family Business

My son, Paul, who passed away five years ago, was the first to help in my project.  He gave me inspiration in the direction it has taken.  Charlie, my husband, buys my plants.  He has traveled all his life, so it is a perfect job for him.

We progressed and expanded.  My oldest son, Warner, joined us.  He is our expert in the propagation of plants, especially bamboo.  Finally, my next son, Brad joined us.  He loves landscaping and creating interesting features along the garden paths.
