Antique or Old Roses

Antique Roses or Old Roses are the easiest to grow, are on their own roots, and have been here forever.  
They are the best to grow in our area of Florida with little care.  

Old roses are the "original" roses, before hybridization took place, keeping the qualities that have been neglected in modern hybrids.  
Many old rose varieties actually prefer minimal pruning and care.  
They have been found in old cemeteries and abandoned home sites, surviving without attention from human hands.
